Swedish-based label Temple Of Torturous is proud to join forces with Siberian post-black metal act Ultar for the release of their debut full-length album “Kadath.”
Formed in 2011 in Krasnoyarsk, the heart of Siberia, the five-piece group was formerly known as Deafknife and self-released one EP entitled “Pantheon” that same year and a full-length album “Vi Er Dode” in 2012 to widespread underground approval.
Now in 2016, with a new moniker, a re-strengthen spirit and a new approach swaying towards a more atmospheric black-metal sound, the group presents us their first album“Kadath.”
Inspired by the mystical world of H. P. Lovecraft, “Kadath” was mastered by Mell Dettmer, who have worked with names like Sunn o))), Fyrnask, Earth and Below The Sun in the past and is set for release on October 21st via Temple of Torturous. Pre-orders are now available here.
