Armory are a speed metal band from Sweden formed in 2012, releasing to date three albums – ‘World Peace… Cosmic War’ (2016), ‘The Search’ (2018), and ‘Mercurion’ (2022), and one E.P. ‘Black Star’…

…emerging in 2025 as a co-release between Dying Victims Productions and Jawbreaker Records. Containing just two songs across nine blistering minutes, Armory deliver a rapid barrage of hyper-speed metal with a myriad of influences.

First up is the supersonic paced title song ‘Black Star’, roaring outta the gate at a phenomenal speed – the band very quickly into their stride as ‘Black Star’ (the song) violently rocks the head back and forth of every single listener, fan, follower, thrasher, metaller and mosher on the entire fucking planet!

Second (and sadly last) song on offer ‘Solar Winds’, might drop a gear here but the all conquering intensity of ‘Black Star’ (the song) remains emphatically in force – the band roughing their sound up with this one, yet still delivering a highly melodious chorus break!

Overall, a fast paced fire and brimstone fuelled double that’ll have you furiously head banging – hard! Very hard!
