Guernica Mancini is a rock singer from Sweden, best known as the lead singer for the Swedish hard rock band Thundermother, has released the single ‘Inception’ – her first as a solo artist – in 2022.

“inception”, according to an internet dictionary search, is “the beginning of something”…and in the case of Guernica Mancini – the singing sensation from Sweden – that something is the beginning of a solo career…

…with the release of her debut single ‘Inception’. Led by Guernica’s sultry blues soaked vocals, ‘Inception’ is a heavy hitting yet bold barrage of hard rock. And with a little of the rasp and grit that is her trademark, the new single is as attractive as the singer herself.

Understandably, Guernica has commitments to Thundermother – the band she has fronted since 2017, singing on the bands last three albums – so a full length solo album may be a while in coming…but I bet it’ll be worth waiting for.

Overall, a heavy hitting and punchy debut single from a young singer with a superb voice.
