STELLAR VEIL
“Calling The Hearts Of The World”
Album Review by Iron Mathew
9.5/10

Stellar Veil are a melodic hard rock band from Greece formed in 2021, releasing the bands debut album ‘Calling The Hearts Of The World’ in 2025.
Describing their music as “heavier than traditional AOR yet blending influences from the eighties metal and rock scene”, Stellar Veil launch their debut album into the stratosphere with nine songs and forty heavy hitting minutes of infectious style “arena rock” – ‘Safely Chained’ immediately into its stride. Shuddering the ground, the Greek rockers slam everyone to the floor with ‘Safely Chained’, the power and oomph oozing from the albums opening salvo all conquering and all consuming as ‘Calling The Hearts Of The World’ marches on with the more lively ‘To Mend A Broken Heart’ – the band’s bombastic nature booming louder than ever to attract the attentions of every single rock fan on the planet! Regardless of whether you like hard, heavy, soft or classic rock, the opening brace is gonna get you, no matter how far, Stellar Veil maintaining their phenomenal rock avalanche with ‘Diamonds To Dust’ – the sound of eighties AOR rising high in the air! And to be honest, AOR’s been sprinkled all over the albums first three songs, it’s just that ‘Diamonds To Dust’ has more of it! Much more, the band breezing their way all around the world with an infectious, heart melting blend of rock.
And coming at ya like machine gun fire, ‘Feel The Pain’ is punchier than everything heard so far, the crunch pouring outta the album right now breaking bones with consummate ease, Stellar Veil dramatically hardening their sound – yet losing none of the immense melodious intent which has been running through the heart of the album since it began! A staggering array of rock from a new band making a sensational impact on the world rock scene, the Greek five piece stride on with the anthemic style foot stomper ‘Thousand And One Nights’ – shockwaves rippling right round the world! The meld of eighties rock with a modern touch is irresistible, ‘Calling The Hearts Of The World’ appealing to a myriad of rock fans, the unstoppable rock machine rolling on with ‘Sign Of Times’ – a Southern rock swagger storming forth! The kinda swagger you’d get with an Aerosmith album, the Greek rockers maintaining their incredible journey all over rock territory to deliver an eye-popping range of melodic hard rock!
This is one hell of a debut album, roaring straight onto every rock fans radar – and staying there! For ‘Calling The Hearts Of The World’ is gonna remain on playlists for a long time to come – ‘Cross The Line’ striding in with shoulders back and head held high, the already sky high levels of majesty and elegance rising higher and higher! Stellar Veil have been punching hard all album long, the band prepared to go the distance without a single breather, ‘Calling The World’ marching headlong into soft rock territory. Oozing a highly anticipative nature, listeners’ anticipations are regally rewarded after just forty four seconds when the band hit the ground like a fucking jack hammer – the band once again slamming everyone to the floor with immense power and oomph! And to end the head turning array of rock, ‘Final Stand’ is a thunderous gallop of catchy, get-the-party-started rock that’ll plant smiles a mile wide on the faces of every listener, fan and follower around the world.
Overall, a punchy, AOR fuelled hard rock romp with an incredibly high infectious level and tonnes of energy and oomph.
