3TEETH Album Review: “Metawar”

3TEETH
“METAWAR”
Album Review by Piers Renfree

8/10

3TEETH are a five piece Industrial Metal outfit, from Los Angeles, California.

Consisting of Alexis Mincolla (vocals), Chase Brawner (guitar), Xavier Swafford (keyboards & synthesizers), Andrew Means (bass and modular synthesizer) and Justin Hanson (drums), 3TEETH use menacing visuals in their live shows. The band have played around the USA and Mexico and have toured with Rammstein, Tool, Danzig and HIM.

Released by Centuary Media and produced by Sean Beavan (who has worked with Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson amongst others), this year’s “Metawar” is the band’s third album following 2017’s “<shutdown.exe>” (also produced by Beavan) and the band’s 2014 self-titled debut.

The band’s sound consists of big, chunky, guitars playing chugging riffs, keyboard atmospherics and Alexis Mincolla is very Marilyn Manson with his vocals – he sings in a lower register and  screams his vocals as well, when he chooses.

Fans of Nine Inch Nails, Front Line Assembly and Marilyn Manson will find plenty here for them.
