We all seem to have been touched by Cancer in some way these days.

So a few metalheads decided to do their bit, by putting a fundraising album together.

These are by no means household names but upcoming unsigned bands and one band, ‘The Unknown Scene’ wrote a track especially for this with emotive words like ‘what will you do’, ‘we can make a difference’

The project was the brain child of Stuart Pooley, a guy who just goes out of his way to promote and help bands who are just starting out.

The album is only a downloadable selection at the moment, but hopefully someone will come forward to make this into a physical CD at some point that could maybe be sold around the festivals as part of the Stand Up To Cancer campaign.

There is a lot of sniping around in the music business at times but things like this restore your faith in our great scene.
