Manimal are a heavy metal band from Sweden formed in 2001, releasing a couple of demos before their debut album ‘The Darkest Room’ emerged in 2009. The bands sophomore album ‘Trapped In The Shadows’ was released in 2015, with their third album ‘Purgatorio’ due for release in 2018. The band have released the single ‘Black Plague’ ahead of the album release.

With a sound that is a crushing mix of power metal and traditional heavy metal, Manimal deliver a pulse racing, adrenalin rushing experience of “foot on the monitor” style metal. Ahead of the release of their third album, the band have released ‘Black Plague’.

Hitting the ground hard and racing on at a high tempo, ‘Black Plague’ is an energetic and exciting romp, similar in style to legendary British metallers Judas Priest. Head banging of the fast and furious nature will accompany ‘Black Plague’ as it powers on by at a breath taking pace.

Manimal have set the bar very high with ‘Black Plague’, anticipation levels for the new album are off the scale and I for one, along with many fans all over the world, cannot wait for the new album.

Overall, a blistering teaser for the bands third album, ‘Black Plague’ is full throttle heavy metal at its traditional best.
