This year, HRH Prog will be serving up a double dose of Prog Rock goodness.
“We’ve just wrapped up an incredibly successful HRH PROG V,” explains CEO Jonni Davis “Now everyone is waiting to see who will be joining Carl Palmer’s ELP Legacy this November for the second instalment of HRH Prog. Well the wait is over! Originally, we were going to add a further 3 or 4 bands, but instead we’ve decided to go large and add another 15, just to get you well and truly in the mood! All these acts have been voted in by the HRH Prog community (the HRH way), so we’re now delighted to confirm the following for HRH Prog VI, with a few more to come shortly on top.”
As previously announced, Carl Palmer’s ELP Legacy will be playing a special tribute: ‘In Memory of Keith Emerson, Greg Lake, and John Wetton’, honouring these legendary artists with a set of ELP material, and a couple of King Crimson tracks. Not to be missed.
Uriah Heep need no introduction to prog fans, having been leading players in prog rock since 1969 and still earning much respect and a devoted following.
Caravan have also been active since the late Sixties, and are known for blending psychedelic rock, jazz, and classical into their prog rock sound, along with their quirky, very English, lyrics.
Best known for their international hit ‘Hocus Pocus’, veteran rockers Focus bring Dutch prog to the HRH stage, whilst Von Hertzen Brothers bring modern Finnish prog to the party.
The Prog VI line-up will also be enriched by Magenta, Heather Findlay, Touchstone, Hawklords, Edgar Broughton, Krankschaft, The Fierce and the Dead, Third Quadrant, Tirith, Kepler Ten, and L’Anima, with another few acts yet to be added to this outstanding roll call of genre talent, as chosen by the HRH community.
HRH Prog VI will be staged back at Camp HRH, Pwllheli, Gwynedd, in North Wales, between 16th-19th November 2017.
