Satan’s Blade are a heavy metal band from the USA formed in 2014 releasing their debut album ‘Curse Of The Blade’ in 2022 via Stormspell Records.

Featuring seven songs over a blistering forty minutes, ‘Curse Of The Blade’ hits hard – very hard! The band are in devastating form, delivering a sound that mixes traditional metal with speed and thrash – fans of the early days of bands such as Overkill and Megadeth will instantly fall in love with it. After a short spoken word intro, the band are very quickly into their stride with ‘Intro/Curse Of The Blade’ steaming forth at high velocity. The band are pumped up and raring to go – snarling vocals blending perfectly with an aggressive thrashy sound, waking up the mosh pits and sending them fucking wild! What an incredible opening salvo…

…and one that just gets better! ‘Burning Skies’ increasing the pace and thundering on like there’s no tomorrow! Satan’s Blade showing a spectacular turn of speed with ‘Burning Skies’ – ferocity and aggression very high in the mix. And after just two songs, ‘Curse Of The Blade’ has been a fantastic furore of fierce fire and brimstone, the blend of traditional and thrash metal simply stunning. Phew! ‘Across The Line’ takes a more heavy metal path than the previous two songs, adopting the iconic “foot on the monitor” pose, and engaging every listener, fan and follower to head bang in rhythmic unison. Satan’s Blade are simply red hot and scorching – I can feel the heat emanating from my speakers! And whoa – what a riff! ‘Cobra Strike’ opening with a sensational guitar riff that has the classic sound of the NWOBHM written all over it. And as for the rest of ‘Cobra Strike’ – a fast paced and ferocious gallop of all out heavy metal. The band breaking speed limits to deliver head bang-able thrash infused metal.

And the whirlwind of scorching heavy metal shows no sign of slowing down either, ‘Battalion’ picking up the baton and running on like a championship relay runner running for gold! A barnstorming crescendo of metal, ‘Battalion’ is fast, fierce, and ferocious – which is a fairly good description of the band. Satan’s Blade the new name in the world of thrashy heavy metal. The fastest song on offer ‘Make Her Bleed’, is a barnstorming barrage of speed and power, the band reaching limits never before recorded! The head bang ability is off the fucking scale – ‘Make Her Bleed’ a red hot scorching friend of every single mosh pit in the world. Bringing the album to a close, is the mighty eleven minutes plus ‘For Those Who Dare To Dream’ – a title that would be at home as a play in a West End theatre stage production! But this ain’t the West End – this is the heavy metal stage, where Satan’s Blade are the main attraction, ending their debut album with a staggering pace changing, tempo changing, mood changing epic that’ll have listeners jaws dropping to the floor in total amazement. What a colossal way to end your bow into metal.

Overall, a stunning forty furious minutes of thrash infused heavy metal, full of incredible pace, power and head bang ability.
