I had the sad news that a good friend had died and it hit me like someone hitting me with a brick.

Bruce Rumbold touched the hearts of everyone he mate, everyone who knew him always says ,’what a lovely bloke’

I knew him as a friend having first met at the first Hammerfest which is now in its 10th year, and March 2018 will be a strange time without Bruce at Hammerfest.

He was as daft as a brush at times which made him all the more likable, he even had my face tattooed on his arm, ‘cos he thought it would be a laugh’

I know he would be really stoked to have made it on to the MGTV webpage although i would have liked it to be under different circumstances.

I cant find the words but I know everyone who hears of this news will have a lump in their throat, a gentle giant and lifelong Maiden maniac.

He lived life hard but enjoyed every minute with his metal family
