Trigger Album Review: “Cryogenesis”

TRIGGER
“CRYOGENESIS”
Album Review By Barry Vest Sr

8.75/10

Melbourne, as of late not a place I would associate with metal. However, some heavy blokes do seem to slither out of the rocks down under for sure. No seriously, I have heard some damn good stuff come from Australia and Trigger is no different from my previous offerings albeit a lot more… um, sedated, cough (King Parrot). So here you have a well-orchestrated riff laden seamless flow that incorporates aspects of bands such as In Flames, Maiden, Bullet For My Valentine, and others. I can hear influences that span the globe from east L.A. to downtown London backstreets to the mecca of the middle east. An album that shows metal is a global market and we are the better for it. Sure to attract a cross section of many fans.

TRIGGER are:
Tim Leopold – Vocals
Luke Ashley – Guitar
Sean Solley – Guitar
Matt Ambrose – Bass
Tim Joyce – Drums
