10/10

Sorceress Of Sin are a melodic power metal band from the UK formed in 2020, releasing their debut album ‘Mirrored Revenge’ later the same year. Moving swiftly into 2021, the band are gearing up for the release of their second album ‘Constantine’, with ‘Massacre Of Meridian’ released as the first single.

Confirmed to play 2021’s Bloodstock Open Air Festival, the British newcomers are quickly becoming a new force in heavy metal. Their debut album of last year was a thrilling blend of traditional, and symphonic, power metal that catapulted the band onto every metal heads’ radar.

Powerful vocals combined with a galloping rhythm and scorching riffage, Sorceress Of Sin deliver ‘Massacre Of Meridian’ with rapturous oomph. The thundering foot on the monitor vibe is infectious and will have you involuntarily head banging along.

If this is your first time hearing Sorceress Of Sin, welcome – and where the fuck have you been! In isolation…!

The bands debut album of last year should be high on your list of purchases, as should their new album – due for release in August.

Overall, ‘Massacre Of Meridian’ is a barnstormer of a teaser for the new album – an infectious and catchy gallop of mesmerising heavy metal.
